In the factory setting, the TV backlight and lights added in the TV area would turn on automatically when the video source (the HDMI device connected to the Sync box) starts providing signals. The lights would turn off automatically when the vdeio source stops providing signals.
You can customize the behaviour in the Auto Sync feature that can be found in the TV sync Settings.
- If you do not want the lights to turn on automatically when you're watching TV during daytime, you can set Auto Sync to only work during a specified time (ex. from 17:00 to 23:30) instead of All day.
- You can disable Auto Sync if you do not want the lights to turn on and off automatically with the video source.
Please note:
- Some media devices continuously send video signals even when in stand-by mode. In this case, the lights would turn on even when the TV screens is turned off.
- If you switch off the TV but keep your media device runnig, the Auto Sync behaviour will not be triggered.
