On the WiZ servers, your home is anonymously identified by a randomly allocated number. We call this number the "Home ID".
There is no need to know your Home ID to use WiZ. However, if you ever need to reach out to our support agents, they may ask you for this identifier in order to search for your home and diagnose the potential issues.
Here is the simplest way to find your Home ID:
- Open the WiZ app
- Locate the Settings tab on the bottom right of the screen and tap on it
- Scroll down to find the "Lights" section and tap on it
- Tap on any of your devices.
- Tap on the downwards arrow ⌄ located on the right of the device name
- Tap on "Device info"
- Scroll down to the "Detailed information section". You will find your home ID there
Note: If all your devices are within groups, you may have to ungroup one device first, then tap on it
