If you need to immediately put your WiZ lights in use without pairing them in the app (for example because your internet line has not been activated yet), there is a way to link the WiZmote and your lights for some basic functionalities.

• Make sure that your lights are freshly out of the box (or fully reset)
• Power on the lights you want to link to the remote
• Within the first 5s after you power on the lights, repeatedly press the ON button on the WiZmote
• The lights will hear the remote and register it. You can now use the remote to trigger 4 default modes, turn on and off, change to nightlight and adjust brightness.

Note that pairing the lights in the app at a later stage will break this first link. But adding the remote back in the app only takes a few seconds.
