Method 1: Save a Scene from the quick control ribbon of a room

  1. In the WiZ app, go to the Home tab and tap on the room for which you want to save a Scene
  2. Once inside the room, locate the "Scenes" icon located in the "quick control" ribbon near the top of the screen. Tap on Scenes
  3. The list of scenes already created in this room will be shown. Tap on the + icon the right hand side to create a new scene
  4. Pick a name for your scene. This will help you recognize it later. It is also the name that will be displayed in your integrations (e.g. Google Home, Alexa), so we advise to pick something easy to pronounce :)
  5. The list of all devices currently included in the Scene is displayed, including the state of the devices (e.g. "Sunset, 75%"). By default when creating a scene, all the devices of the room are included. If this is fine for you and you just wanted to "snapshot" the room, then tap on "Create" right away
  6. Otherwise, you can make some adjustments:
    1. Exclude some devices so that the scene only targets part of the room
    2. Adjust the expected state and brightness of the targeted devices
  7. Once done, tap on "Create". Your scene is saved!

 

Method 2: Save a Scene from the Library

  1. In the WiZ app, go to the Library tab
  2. Tap on Scenes
  3. Tap on the ... button in the top right corner, then select "Create a scene"
  4. Select the room for which you want to save the scene
  5. Pick a name for your scene. This will help you recognize it later. It is also the name that will be displayed in your integrations (e.g. Google Home, Alexa), so we advise to pick something easy to pronounce :)
  6. The list of all devices currently included in the Scene is displayed, including the state of the devices (e.g. "Sunset, 75%"). By default when creating a scene, all the devices of the room are included. If this is fine for you and you just wanted to "snapshot" the room, then tap on "Create" right away

Note: lights which are currently disconnected are by default excluded from scenes
