Camera chimes are designed to inform you when something happens.

Most chimes are used during installation to indicate "ready to connect" as well as each step of the process during which the camera is connecting to the cloud to register itself and establish link witht he home and the application.

The error chime, along with a blinking red LED may happen if something does not go right with the camera. For example, if it cannot connect to network or another issue happens. If such a state persists, do not hesitate to contact support using the in-app chat.

 

Note that some cameras have a different set of chimes, which will get updated after the first installation and the firmware of the camera gets up to date.
