If you can find the device but it appears not to be compatible (cannot be installed as per error message), please refer to the this FAQ.


If your devices do not appear in the list and they are lamps , please go through the following actions.

  1. Power them off. Then power them on again 5 or so second laters and wait a bit for them to appear in the list.
  2. If they still do not appear, try the following action. Power the devices off then on with a 1.5 second interval or so inbetween 3 times, they should start pulsing. if the devices are pulsing, they should appear shortly after in the list.
  3. If they still do not appear, try the following action. Power the devices off then on with a 1.5 second interval or so inbetween 5 times, they should start pulsing. if the devices are pulsing, they should appear shortly after in the list.
If the devices are not lamps, contact support (for connected switches or sockets), you would need most of the time to press a button for a certain amount of time to put those in installation mode.

Also, make sure the devices are recent enough. Most devices produced before February 2021 do not have the capability to appear in the list out of the box. Some older devices do not have the capability required for their BLE to be installable by WiZ Pro Setup app.
