There are two cases where the "sync" command, when executed in the WiZ Pro setup app, will fail and the application will display a very detailed error message. These cases are described below together with a temporary solution.
Case 1: Devices with older firmware
When devices with an older firmware version are detected, the WiZ Pro setup app will request the use of a (temporary) Wi-Fi network to update the firmware of devices. In this case, the WiZ Pro setup app performs a temporary pairing with the WiZ Pro cloud to enable the over-the-air update. Once the update is done, the device is "deleted" from the WiZ Pro cloud. When the user tries to execute a "sync" command, it will fail.
Case 2: Devices already paired but deleted in the WiZ App
When devices are deleted from a home/site via the WiZ App and the WiZ Pro setup app is used to pair the device again to either a new home/site or the existing home/site, the "sync" command will fail.
This is a known issue and we apologize for the inconvenience and we are investigating how to resolve the issue.
The temporary solution:
- Follow the step-by-step guide located here.
- Choose the option "NOT USING SETUP APP".
- Scroll all the way to the bottom for the detailed steps.
