Adding Products is quick and easy with any new WiZ Pro capable device.

Power the devices on and they should appear in the app within 10 to 20 seconds. If not, you can power the devices off for some time, let's say 10 seconds, and then power them back on. By default, most devices should advertise in Bluetooth and be picked up by the app scanner.


Note: If you are repurposing a product which had already been installed in the WiZ system, go check the dedicated FAQ as you may need to force the product into installation mode again, forcing it to forget its past network. If the product also for any reason does not appear in the list of the scanner, go check the dedicated FAQ "Device not found?"


Then, you can select to Commission all ( top button), which will run a commissioning for every product in range one after another, or some at the same time, depending on your mobile phone capabilities.

The status of on-going step will change for each product until it is successfully added to the list. Note that these status may be an indication for support cases if some products stay blocked at certain steps.


Note that some firmware updates can take up to 3 minutes depending on the firmware of the product at production time and the Bluetooth transfer capabilities of the phone used. More recent products and more recent phones will decrease the time for updates.


The wheel will indicate firmware update progress during this step.

Once products are added, they will become a card with a magic wand icon. You can tap the magic wand to blink the product if it is a lamp in order to ensure which product is which one. Note that this magic wand is available at many key times in the app when you would like to make sure which product is which.


Once all the products are in an added mode, you can either go back to the Site screen to go through further steps, or you can continue adding more products.
