Syncing Products ensure that the devices get the latest version of their configuration they should have to reflect the status in WiZ Pro Setup.

If any of the devices need to have its configuration updated, it will be listed as "X needed" with X being the number of products for which some synchronisation of settings is needed.

For example, if you moved products to a room and moved a remote control accessory to the same room, using the Sync will make the phone send messages to the devices to listen and obey to the remote control. So before pressing Sync, the lamps will not turn on/off based on the remote control, but after the Sync, the commands will be followed by the lamps.

Sync is also the way the Wi-Fi credentials are given to the products. So a lamp which was previously only available on Bluetooth would receive the credentials after Sync, and try to connect to the network indicated in the credentials. If the lamp is successful in connecting to the network and to the internet, it will in the future be connected and addressed directly from the cloud.

Note that for products which are connected to the cloud over Wi-Fi, they will automatically be synced, so the push sync action may sometimes be redundant (but is a security to ensure consistency).

Please note: Wi-Fi credentials ( in the 'connectivity' step ) and the 'sync products' step are required before the handover of the project to the client. If these steps are not complete and a project handover is executed, the client will not have control over the WiZ devices.
