When a fan is not installed in a WiZ home yet, it should be in pairing mode after a simple power cycle. You should then be able to find it in the WiZ app via Bluetooth (if the fan has Bluetooth) or by following the flow to add one to your home.
You can also force it to go into installation mode as per below, but it should not be necessary.
If a fan has already been installed in a WiZ home, you may want to force it to go into intsllation mode.
To do so can be different depending on your fan brand and usually necessitates a combination of button press on the remote or power cycles. Please refere to the instruction manual of your fan for full instructions.
Below are some examples of remote action to put the fan into pairing or installation mode.
Faro: Push the "reverse function" button of your Faro remote control for 10 seconds, until you hear a "beep".
Below are some examples of power cycle action to put the fan into pairing or installation mode.
Trio Reality Leuchten: Power cycle the fan 3 times if not installed, 5 times if installed already in a WiZ home (off/on) in a quick way, it will emit 2 beeps and be in installation mode. It will go into Manual pairing AP mode after 60 seconds and emit 2 additional beeps at that time.
