No, the TV backlight strip is not designed to be cut.

The backlight strip is designed to fit certain sizes of TV (55"~65" or 75"~85"). Please make sure to get the kit that is suitable for your TV.

Due to the variety of form factor in different TV models, it can still happen that the strip is too long for your TV. In this case, your can try to fix it as in the illutrastion below.

Please note the following during installation:

• Always center align the top side of the backlight strip
• When bending the LED strip around the corners, be careful not to bend or squeeze the "loops" too tight. Make sure to make bigger loops to avoid cracking the plastic coating or breaking the LED chips.
• Use the fixing clips on each side of the "loops" so the strip is less likely to come off the glue due to the tension.
